Ceremonies of Union

When my husband & I married on a beach in New Zealand in 2011, we wanted something individual, to honour our beliefs... something about us and our commitment to one another... something outside in nature.  Our celebrant created all of those things and I can still remember the experience of opening to Love I felt on the day.

If, at the time, we'd known the kind of ceremony we wanted was available in Scotland, we may well have chosen to marry on the Isle of Skye!

As an ordained One Spirit Interfaith Minister I am able to marry couples in Scotland.  I love to hold ceremonies individually crafted to honour your soul connection... be they ceremonies of commitment, marriage or renewal of vows.

Couples come from around the world to the beautiful Isle of Skye for intimate elopement ceremonies.  I work alongside the best local photographers who can promise the most stunning locations... the perfect setting for your day.  Although I'm afraid we can't promise the weather!

Working with you to understand your beliefs, your relationship vision and your ceremony dreams and desires, I can craft ceremonies truly personal to you.  As an interfaith minister and non-conformist to any particular faith path, I can include poems, songs, dances, body prayers, rituals, nature, symbols and language to honour you and your relationship and any relationship you have to a faith path.

Usually 2-3 zoom meetings and email/phone liaison over a period of 4-6 months resulting in the co-created ceremony
Holding the ceremony on the day

"We are thrilled that serendipity and Penny (the photographer) brought you to us, Jo. Thankyou for all your attention to the details that were so important to us for our Summer Solstice wedding.  Words cannot express our joy that we are still experiencing (in the days after). Thankyou so much for every loving detail and a marriage ceremony more beautiful than we could have imagined."
