TWIA UK Wedding Celebrant of the Year

I felt like I'd been transported to an alternate reality. From the wilds of Skye, barefoot in nature, holding intimate elopement ceremonies, to all the glitz & glamour of the #TWIA National Awards! There were stilt walkers with wings, indoor fireworks, magicians, a red carpet, an illustrator, a casino & the most fabulous array of glittering outfits!  It was magical & a LOT! Mostly I just wandered around in awe 😆

As the award for UK Wedding Celebrant of the Year 2026 was announced I thought I might be sick!

I never in a million years thought I'd win!  What an honour! And heartwarming to be recognised nationally. I love my work as a Celebrant & the wonderful couples & wedding suppliers I have the privilege of working with. I'm so grateful to all my couples who voted for me and their beautiful words of feedback. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou 🙏🙏🙏

Often we Interfaith Ministers don't receive accolades for our work (perhaps it's not the done thing in the spiritual world), but it is necessary and wonderful to raise awareness of what we do. It helps couples who might be looking for something different to find us. We often marry couples who are spiritual but not religious, whose beliefs differ from one another's, or who don't fit neatly into a particular religious institution.  We serve people of all faiths and none. 

If you follow my socials, you'll know I love my work marrying couples out in nature. It blesses my life deeply ✨️ and my hope is it also blesses theirs ✨️
