An Inspiring Women event in celebration of International Women's Day. This is our 3rd year of hosting an event to celebrate the women in our local community. This year's programme brings conversation, connection, creativity, storytelling talks and more... a whole day of inspiring events. Come... celebrate the wonderful women in our local community.

12.00 - 13.30 Inner Expression Art Workshop

Alternative mark-making and mixed medium techniques whilst finding your own inner expression… accessible for all… no experience or skill needed

Featuring two extraordinary local women making waves in their fields. Meet Karen Kennedy, the owner of an award-winning accountancy firm, who will share her journey of breaking barriers in business and empowering others with financial know-how. And get an exclusive look into the world of social media influencing with Caroline McQuistin, a trailblazer who has turned her online presence into a thriving career.

16:45- 18.00 Inspiring Journeys: Visioning

Emma Bee, Amy Bentall, Suzy Lee

You are invited to create your own vision boards based on career aspirations or personal goals, inspired by Karen and Caroline’s stories.  This can be for anything from starting a career, to creating a beautiful garden or getting going with a hobby.  Think big and creatively!


18.00 - 19.00 DINNER, Women’s Art Exhibition, Skill sharing

19.00 - 21.00 Women Who’ve Inspired Us Storytelling

In this evening of storytelling, we'll hear stories of inspiring women from Skye and Lochalsh... their own story, told through the lens of the women who've inspired them.  Each story is a window into a woman’s life, her values, her passions, her wisdom; a story of what it means to be inspired by another. A beautiful, connecting, evocative and wonder-filled evening, cheering on our courageous storytellers.
