CEREMONY INSPIRATION

I've been reflecting on the ceremonies I've created over the years, thinking about what inspires me to create ceremony, to hold ceremony.

There are the wedding ceremonies, handfastings, commitment ceremonies and marriage blessings, home and land blessings, funerals, baby blessings, new business blessings and healing ceremonies I've crafted, where the impetus for ceremony has come from someone else; someone asking me to create ceremony for them.

You can read about some of them HERE

Then there are all the ceremonies I've created for myself. Ceremonies crafted and held to set intention... to celebrate... to honour... to feel... to grieve... to integrate... to heal...

I've created ceremony to bring awareness to thresholds I'm crossing; to hold myself in big emotions that I don't know what else to do with; to release what doesn't serve me, let go of repeating patterns and unhelpful behaviours; to heal core wounds; to call something in (magic, abundance, a publishing contract, a new home); to mark cycles and phases, of the moons, the seasons, the stages of my life.

Some of these ceremonies I share in my book Living Ceremony, A Women's Book of Sacred Ceremonies which will be available for pre-order in December and published at the Spring Equinox 2027.

In the meantime, if you're looking for inspiration for the kinds of ceremonies you could create and hold for yourself, beyond what's written here, I've gathered some blogs for you HERE.

I'd love to hear more about the ceremonies you create. If you're not sure where to start, my book will be out very soon. And if you want some support before hen, be in touch.
