Normally I create a new altar for each Wheel of the Year festival... intuitively gathering items from around my home and from nature, to create something of beauty - an offering if you will. Every six weeks I dismantle the last festival's altar and allow the new one to come forth. Loved the honouring of Imbolc and Brigid at a ceremony I held tonight with a dear friend... We journeyed with Brigid the Goddess and Brigid the Saint. Here's an imbolc doll I made earlier today from twigs and moss and sheep's wool and yarn and fabric. She has a wee sack to carry my seeds of intention into the Spring. #imbolc #ceremony #doll #altar
